2. User Accounts, Verification, and Authenticity
To access the Service, you must register for an Account. You agree to maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
Identity Verification: Meetro reserves the right to request proof of your identity (e.g., government-issued ID) or proof of your business affiliation (e.g., business license or corporate email verification) at any time. We reserve the right to deny access to or suspend your Account if you refuse to provide such information or for any lawful reason as determined in our sole discretion.
Account Security: You may only possess one Account. You are prohibited from sharing credentials, buying or selling accounts, or impersonating another individual, business, or organization. You are fully responsible for any activity that occurs under your Account.
3. Employer and Recruiter Conduct Standards
If you are an Employer or Recruiter using Meetro, you represent, warrant, and agree to the following:
No Predatory Practices: You will not post multi-level marketing (MLM) positions, pyramid schemes, or any opportunity that requires a Job Seeker to pay an upfront fee, purchase a starter kit, or pay for training.
Wage and Pay Transparency Compliance: It is the employer's sole responsibility to comply with all applicable pay and wage transparency laws and regulations applicable to jobs posted on Meetro. Meetro assumes no liability for an employer's failure to disclose required salary ranges.
No Anonymous Jobs: All job postings must clearly and accurately identify the hiring company. Anonymous or confidential job postings are strictly prohibited.
Compliance with Laws: Your hiring practices will comply with all applicable local, provincial, state, and federal employment laws, including equal employment opportunity (EEO) and anti-discrimination laws.
Data Usage: You will only use Job Seeker data obtained through Meetro for the purpose of filling current employment opportunities and will not sell, distribute, or spam candidates.
4. Prohibited Activities and Content
As a user of Meetro, you agree not to engage in, nor assist any third party in engaging in, any of the following:
Reverse Engineering: You will not decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive any source code, matching algorithms, or structures from the Website.Wage
Harmful Software: You will not introduce viruses, trojan horses, worms, scraping bots, or other malicious software.
Fraud and Scams: You will not post unwanted or irrelevant content primarily for phishing attempts, spreading malware, or deceiving users with fabricated credentials or fake job opportunities
Hate Speech and Harassment: You will not post content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, violent, or discriminates against individuals based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.
5. Site Monitoring, Investigations, and Enforcement
Meetro relies on community flagging and internal monitoring to maintain Trust & Safety.
Right to Investigate: We reserve the right to investigate any reported violations of these Terms. During an investigation, Meetro may temporarily restrict, freeze, or suspend your account access without prior notice.
User Action: To resolve an account restriction, you may be required to respond to Trust & Safety inquiries or provide supplemental verification.
Content Removal: We may remove or refuse to post any content (including job postings or user profiles) for any or no reason in our sole discretion.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
The Website and its entire contents, features, and functionality (including software, text, displays, design, and matching algorithms) are owned by the Company and are protected by intellectual property laws. Meetro, CircleUp Tech Inc., and related logos are our trademarks. You must not use such marks without prior written permission. You may only use the Website for its intended commercial or personal networking purposes.
7. Employer and Recruiter Conduct Standards
YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. THE WEBSITE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS.
No Employment Guarantee: Meetro does not guarantee that Job Seekers will find employment, nor do we guarantee that Employers will find suitable candidates.
Third-Party Content: We are not responsible for the accuracy of candidate profiles, resumes, or employer job postings. We do not conduct background checks on Job Seekers or Employers. You are solely responsible for conducting your own due diligence before accepting a job offer or hiring a candidate.
Automated Matching: Meetro utilizes artificial intelligence and automated algorithms to suggest job matches. We disclaim all liability for errors, omissions, or the accuracy of these automated recommendations.
8. Limitation on Liability
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE WILL CIRCLEUP TECH INC., ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE WEBSITE, ANY AUTOMATED MATCHING OUTCOMES, OR YOUR INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER USERS (EMPLOYERS OR CANDIDATES). THIS INCLUDES LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF PROFITS, AND LOSS OF DATA, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
9. Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CircleUp Tech Inc., its affiliates, and their respective directors and employees from any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your submissions to the platform, or your violation of any employment laws or third-party rights.
10. Paid Services and Subscriptions
If you purchase paid features or subscriptions, you agree to pay all applicable fees. Payments are processed by secure third-party payment processors. Meetro is not liable for any issues arising directly from third-party payment gateways. All purchases are final and non-refundable unless otherwise stated in a separate written agreement.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and your use of the Website will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of these Terms shall be instituted exclusively in the courts located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
12. General Provisions
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement: These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the sole and entire agreement between you and CircleUp Tech Inc. (dba Meetro) regarding the Website.
